Hi Blake,
What drives Emotions?
The process of emotion perception can be easier to employ if you coach team sports because of “peer group common denominator.” Which means the members slip into a common psych pattern, making emotional perception easier?

Thank you for your article, I'd love to share what I have uncovered after 20 years in performance sport, about how the mind, (not brain) really works to create human experience. There is a profound truth that if understood, impacts a person, such that it wouldn't occur to them to take their feelings seriously! Feelings are a by-product of Thought in the moment. Your experience doesn't come from circumstance or situations, it works inside out, you project your reality out into the world. You have the feeewill to project a million Thoughts about the very same thing!! Now that's powerful! Freedom of Mind IS possible for human beings, but it's not about overcoming your mental life, it's about understanding it nature! Sadly, we have been looking in the wrong direction for hundreds of years!! Now we have the chance to evolve the modern world of elite sport, by going beyond the conceptual mind, towards your innate mental health and resilience as a human being. My book Inspired Performance will be out in the new year, happy to chat with anyone who resonates with what it is I am pointing to!
