powerful, i wish all coaches would abide by this,
my fear, it will be largely ignored, perhaps the human condition means,
our arrogance and ego, if we have it slightly under control, makes us learn by our own mistakes?
I've certainly committed #1 error on more than a few occasions, despite my rhetoric.
As coaches I think most of us have made some of these 8 mistakes plus a lot of others over our journey. I sometimes cringe when I think back at my initial years of coaching. We encourage our athletes to learn from their mistakes & to continually GROW. As coaches we are no different. Our mistakes are what eventually shapes us as long as we continue to Learn & adjust our philosophies & actions from them.
