Ladder Work Assault Coarses, what does it bring to your sport and/or your athlete?

  • I work within American Football, so speed/agility/power/strength are all part of my enviroment. In this regard, I'd be keen to read what people think about 'LWAC's', and what it brings to your sport and athlete.

I've seen countless video's of athletes doing ingenious assault coarses, hoping jumping skipping etc, but I'm wondering if all, or any of it, really pertains to my chosen sport of American Football. Running these coarses appear to be an art in it's self, so does it translate?
